Photography (Winter 2017-18)

Hey, friends! I know that it’s been quite a while…my life has been pretty strange since the start of the new school year, with the addition of the occasional spam emails with fake accounts following me on here… I wonder if that’s been happening to anyone else? Anyways, I have gotten the chance to discover my ideal style of photography and thought to share some of my photographs with you. Enjoy!

I really like to use an app called VSCO to edit my pictures, and I find that the crop tool really defines the picture. As you can see, all my pictures are different shapes. I like to make my feed look almost like a puzzle, using ratios like 2:3, 4:5, and sometimes 1:1.

  2. Aw, thank you so much, I truly appreciate it! 🙂 So, in the past, I’ve tried to use professional photo editing softwares, such as Adobe Lightroom, but that hasn’t worked out for me since I tended to over-edit my photos. Now, I stick to an app called VSCO (It’s free on the App Store) that has a variety of different filters to use, with a handy toggle bar if the filter at 100% is too much. Most of these were edited using the filter P5, which slightly desaturates the image- a look I personally like! ❤
