Hey, friends! Happy Summer.

Hey, friends. So, I have a confession to make; I know I haven’t posted in over a month. Yeah, see normally I just go and get caught up in something, and then I actually forget to post (tragic, right?), but for some reason, I’ve actually been hyper-aware of the fact that this site hasn’t been updated in a while.

In the past month, I’ve done lots of things: I went to Germany, I came back, I finished school for the year, I kicked off summer…I’d like to say that taking a break from Yellow Eccentricity was for the better, and that I “figured a lot about myself out while I was away” blah blah, “I’m trying to reinvent myself” blah blah, but no. Actually, while I was away, I kinda felt like crap. I don’t know, but I haven’t been very happy lately, and it’s been affecting my work ethic as well as my mindset when trying new things.

I actually feel super bad because I’ve been reading Crooked Kingdom for months, and though I have less than 100 pages to go… something keeps on slowing me down. Book reviews seem to be the post popular, and I was thinking of putting off posting until I finished the book, but who knows when that’ll be, right?

I’m slowly trying to get myself back into everything, like reading and writing. I take Crooked Kingdom with me everywhere I go, and I’ve tried to start creative writing back up.

So, my friends, expect me to be more active this summer, and definitely expect more book reviews in the future. Between my extensive TBR list and my summer reading assignments, I shouldn’t be reading nothing this summer.

So, until then,

With love,

Yellow Eccentricity ❤
