Hey, friends. So, this post was just something to let you know where I’ve really been all this time. Basically, I auditioned for a play back in January, and I got the part I wanted. YAY!
So, for the past two months have been rehearsals in the afternoons, and the show was last weekend from Thursday the 9th to Sunday the 12th.
For those of you in theatre, you know about a little something called Hell Week. For those that don’t know, Hell Week is the week of the show where there are rehearsals for about double the time they usually are, getting home late at night, et cetera et cetera…
So, from Feb. 26 to Mar. 2 was a little pre-Hell Week where we wet all called every day. From the 6th to the 8th were four hour rehearsals (Which isn’t that bad, because I’ve heard of worse, but still…), and Thursday and Friday were 5-9pm while Saturday and Sunday were 12-4pm for the matinees.
I’m not saying this was a particularly bad experience, I’m just letting you know that no, I didn’t drop off the face of the Earth and yes, I am still alive.
So, for those of you that are still here: thanks for not leaving me. 😁
Until the next time:
Yellow Eccentricity ❤️
