    Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews.

    It was alright.

  1. What made it good?

    I guess I would say, the author’s sense of humor.

  1. Would you recommend it to other people?

    Maybe. If you like books like The Fault in Our Stars.

  1. How often do you read?

    Recently? Not as much as I would like.

  1. Do you like to read?

    Of course!

  1. What was the last bad book you read?

    Oh, gosh. Looking for Alaska by John Green.

  1. What made you dislike it?

    To me, there wasn’t much of a plot.

  1. Do you wish to be a writer?

    Yes! I’ve loved to write since forever.

  1. Has any book ever influenced you greatly?

    I’ll Give you the Sun by Jandy Nelson. That book taught me to look at life a little differently, and to embrace who I am, and what makes me different.

    I tried to write a Harry Potter fanfiction about Fred Weasley, and I have the whole storyline in my head, I just have no idea how to execute it well in writing.

  1. What’s your favourite book?

    That’s hard. I really enjoyed Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, but I also really love The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan.

  1. What’s your least favourite book?

    Looking for Alaska by John Green. (Sorry!)

  1. Do you prefer physical books or read on a device (like a Kindle)?

    Physical! Definitely…

  1. When did you learn to read?

    Sometime when I was young. I’m sorry, I’m not sure.

    To be completely honest, I never really liked many of the assigned books.

    The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan.

    I really love Cassandra Clare, Rick Riordan, Leigh Bardugo, and John Green. (What? Paper Towns was good…)

    Alec Lightwood from the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare.

    Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.

    Hmm…I think the author would know whether or not to keep going. I don’t know.

  1. How long does it take you to read a book?

    It depends. When not going through a reading slump, a few days. During a slump, maybe a couple of months.

  1. Do you like when books become movies?

    Yes! Even if they’re bad. I can tell when they’re horrible *cough* Percy Jackson *cough* but they’re still entertaining.

  1. Which book was ruined by its movie adaptation?

    Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and Paper Towns by John Green.

  1. Which movie has done a book justice?

    All of the Harry Potter movies.

  1. Do you read the newspaper?


  1. Do you read magazines?

    When I’m bored, I’ll admit I do read Teen Vogue.

  1. Do you prefer newspapers or magazines?

    I used to.

    All the time.

  1. Are you a fast read?

    Compared to some of my friends? Oh, yeah.

    Not particularly.

  1. Where is your favourite place to read?

    In the car.

  1. Is it hard for you to concentrate while you read?

    Not really.

  1. Do you need a room to be silent while you read?

    No. I’m a very visual thinker, so I should need the room to be silent, but I like to put on some music while I read. Usually instrumental, so I don’t feel tempted to sing along.

  1. Who gave you your love for reading?

    My fifth grade teacher.

  1. What book is next on your list to read?

    I have so many. One of them is definitely Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard by Rick Riordan.

  1. When did you start to read chapter books?

    When I was in first grade.

  1. Who is your favourite children’s book author?

    I’m gonna have to be cliché and say Dr. Seuss, mainly because I don’t know many others.

  1. Which author would you most want to interview?

    I really want to interview Cassandra Clare.

  1. Which author do you think you’d be friends with?

    I actually do think that Cassandra Clare would be a really great friend.

  1. What book have you reread the most?

    The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan.

    Iconic books, like Little Women, The Great Gatsby, Pride and Prejudice.

    None, no matter how bad they might be.
