Winter 2017 Comment Challenge

Hello, friends! There I was in the ever-boring FCS class at school, when I decided to do the Winter 2017 Comment Challenge. I’d like to thank Holly over at Nut Free Nerd for inspiring me to do this challenge and look into it. She doesn’t know what she did, but I sure do.

For those of you that don’t know what it is, (and I didn’t know until three minutes ago) the comment challenge was originally created over the summer by Lonna @ FlyLēF and Alicia @ A Kernel of Nonsense. Basically, bloggers sign up and are paired together at the beginning of each month, and will be asked to comment on each other’s blogs.

I don’t get many comments, but when I do, it’s the greatest thing. Comments let the author know that people are reading what they’re putting out, whether it be a negative comment or a positive one. It let’s you know that you aren’t alone, and opens up a segue into making new friends and starting discussions.

When I’m partnered, I plan to post 10+ times on their blog in the month of January, and hopefully I’ll be able to sign up for February as well.

This challenge really interests me, and seems like a nice way to get to meeting new people. I’m very excited to start…it’s almost as if I’m being paired up for the German Exchange again!

Hope you guys consider signing up!

  1. Hi Cec, So glad you’ve decided to give this challenge a try. As a host, I enjoy hopping around all the participants’ sites to sprinkle comment love, but more so, I enjoy creating lasting bonds with new bloggers like yourself. I hope you have fun.
