Hello, friends! I’m here today to show you guys my bookshelves, and how much I really need a regular, full-sized one! (I hope you’re reading this, Mom.) I’ll show you the books that I have, how my shelves are “organized” and the huge pile of books on my desk that I don’t have room for on my tiny shelves. Let’s get into it!
Alright, so this is my first little compartment. I basically have my favorites on here; The Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan, along with 2/3 of The Mortal Instruments. The last two books are two compartments below because they could not fit in here. Then we have The Hunger Games books. For those two books on top there that you really can’t see…
The Great Gatsby and Clockwork Angel, both of which I have reviews up for!
Moving right on down, I have the majority of my little books here. There are the last two books in the Grisha trilogy, my John Green collection, a few famous book-to-movie adaptations, and two cutesy romance books there on the far right.
On top, I have Binge by Tyler Oakley, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.
Down down to the third shelf on side one, we have the shelf that I haven’t read! Yay!
Really, though, I’ve only read four of these books all the way through. I have a few well-known books on here, including Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. Right on top there…you guessed it–
The missing third of my Mortal Instruments collection! Stuffed in where they could fit.
Right below that shelf, I carry a bunch of magazines, but I have two giant B&N bargain books that I have yet to read even a little bit of.
Moving on to the other side of the shelf, I’ve got bigger books!
Here’s the Divergent trilogy, three books in the Beautiful Creatures series, two books of the Shatter Me stories, and these three books I got years ago just because the covers were beautiful. I know, I’m sad sometimes.
Then, on top, here’s this book by Brandon Mull called Five Kingdoms: Sky Raiders.
Moving down, here are a bunch of books I doubt any of you have heard of, except for The Host, Anne of Green Gables, and maybe The Testing. The others are some spontaneous buys, recommendations that didn’t quite work out, and elementary school reads! But right on top there, I have…
I have a book called Dead City that I got from an elementary school book fair, and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
This is another “What in the world have I read on this?” shelf. I have two of the Cinder books, a Magnus Chase book, Throne of Glass, Rebel Belle, The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken, and the first two books of the Matched trilogy. Next to those, you see Legend and Champion…with no Prodigy! Well, Prodigy is up in my bed (These shelves are on either side of the ladder going up into my loft bed, and that little black thing you see over to the right is my closet.) being ugly. Then I have Red Queen (A review out now!) and The Bane Chronicles.
The books that I had on top there were Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige, a mythology book that I bought when I went away to Quiz Bowl in June, and The Marvels by Brian Selznick. (You really need to check him out! His stories and illustrations are amazing!)
And now, for the part you all have been waiting for…
That’s an incomplete version of my book tower. There are three books missing (The Crown by Kiera Cass, Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo, and Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare). This pile literally started on Christmas 2015, and it has been growing ever since. As you can see, I have another Brian Selznick book (Wonderstruck) there. (For those of you who can’t tell, it’s the spine with the girl’s face.)
From this pile I have reviews of I’ll Give You the Sun, Drama, The One, The Elite, and The Selection!
Thank you so much for watching this, I hope you didn’t get bored. 😉
