Fall. Autumn. September 21st. The autumnal equinox…whatever you want to call it, it’s a season, and it starts this week.
I’m so excited! Fall has got to be my absolute favorite season. It holds my favorite holiday (Halloween. Free candy, duh.) and it’s the ultimate reading season.
There’s something cozy about the weather being chilly, not scorching, not freezing. You know, those comfy, in-between days.
Here’s a cliché fall scenario for you: You’re sitting in your bed, a nice book in your hand. The ambiance is warm with your fuzzy blanket, B&BW fall scented candle, and cup of steaming chamomile tea.
Jeez, now I crave that.
Today, it poured all day. If it wasn’t pouring, then water was falling from the sky in some way, shape, or form. It was dark, wet, and cold.
But I got to wear jeans to school.
Yes! See, I put a lot of thought into the outfits that I wear (I used to be an elementary school fashion guru. You should have seen the things I’d wear to school in fourth grade.) and I find it so much easier to come up with chilly weather outfits, because you can just cover everything up.
Right now, I’m sitting in my bedroom in a pair of sweatpants. I love it.
So, I’m really looking forward to reading more books this season, getting back into the groove. I haven’t posted in a week-and-a-half, and it’s getting harder and harder to keep with posting since school started.
But that isn’t an excuse. I’m the Queen of Excuses, but when it comes to my friends giving me excuses, I’m done. So I’m not gonna spout off some crap about being too busy, when there are people out there that actually take time out of their day to read my content. I love that. Thanks.
How many times did I say the word ‘love’ in this post? Jeez.
Well, anyway, I really hope you guys see some more book reviews this season. This was a bit of a welcome to the new season, and little bit about the stuff I like.
Thank you guys so much for reading!
Till next time,
Yellow Eccentricity
